This is a free event being held at the Family Center of Little Cypress Baptist Church.
This is a grassroots movement of "Preppers" beginning with members of three local churches. This event contains input from certain experts in their fields, a few companies with specializations, but most of the input is from local citizens who are turning their concerns into preparations. This is not a survivalist event, a political movement, or a slaes event; though a few venders will be in attendance.Some of the topics covered will have materials and catalogues from various vendors at the tables. These resources are free for an individual, but not in bulk amounts. A few displays may be based solely on printed materials. Much of this material wil direct people to resoureces on the internet.
Neither this event nor its planners are presenting their information as authoritative on these topics. This is an infomational event that is backed by the personal experiences of local citizens, Biblical materials stand on their own merit.
